Agility Law Group acted for the liquidators of Remi Capital Pty Ltd (in liquidation) in conducting public examination hearings in March 2023 and July 2023.

The director, former director, related parties and senior leadership and advisors were examined in the Federal Court of Australia.

The examinations were reported on by the Australian Financial Review:

• Remi Capital director grilled over use of share sales to buy home.
• Suspected Ponzi head 'used $60k for Bahamas holiday'.
• Suspected Ponzi founder took $400000 in 'risk fees'.

The evidence obtained was used by the liquidators in asset recovery proceedings, ongoing investigations and offence reporting to ASIC.

Douglas Bartholomew was the primary solicitor instructing Mr Samuel Lane of Counsel at the examination hearings.
