Agility Law Group acted for the petitioning creditor in winding up proceedings against Remi Capital Pty Ltd in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Following an expired statutory demand and the filing of the winding up application, Remi Capital Pty Ltd appointed voluntary administrators on 25 May 2022. At the winding up hearing on 9 June 2022, the Court ordered that the company be wound up in insolvency and appointed liquidators, with a priority costs order in favour of the petitioning creditor and supporting creditors.

The liquidators have reported that the company and its group owed over $124 million in total debts to investors and lenders. Investigations and actions and continuing to recover assets and pursue claims in the liquidation.
