Chris Adolphe
Special Counsel - Commercial and Property Law
Chris, originally from Canada, relocated to Australia in 1999 to pursue his legal education. He called the Gold Coast home while attending Bond University, where he graduated in 2001. Chris was admitted as a solicitor in 2002.
During his studies, Chris met his now-wife and moved to Brisbane. With 25 years of commercial law practice under his belt, predominantly in Brisbane and a few years in Sydney, he brings a wealth of experience in business advisory, working closely with business owners and commercial investors.
Chris became an Australian citizen in 2008 and now holds dual Canadian/Australian citizenship.
Coming from a legal family (his father is a retired lawyer and his older brother is also a practicing solicitor), Chris has always had a rich pool of experience to draw from. However, he finds the most effective way to understand his clients' needs and devise the best legal solutions is through one-on-one interactions. This passion led him to establish his own practice, Chris Adolphe & Associates, in 2009.
In 2024, Chris joined Agility Law Group as the head of its Commercial and Property Law team.
With a strong customer-focused approach, it's no surprise that most of Chris's clients come through referrals or repeat business. He believes that understanding clients' needs and maintaining active communication should be central to the ethos of all solicitors.
In his free time, Chris enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and children, including hiking, camping, cooking, playing really bad golf, and fishing (not necessarily catching).
